I am Muhammad Usman Zia, Founder & CEO of Macromodule Technologies. My career has developed across software delivery, technical project leadership, product development and company building — most of it spent close to the work rather than one step removed from it.

Early career
Software delivery and engineering
I began by writing production software and taking responsibility for the outcomes of what my teams shipped — not only the code, but the way it behaved once real users depended on it.
Mid career
Engineering and delivery leadership
Over time, my responsibility widened into engineering leadership and technical project ownership: shaping teams, running delivery for complex programmes and translating between business intent and engineering execution.
Today

I founded Macromodule Technologies to bring the same standard of thinking to a broader set of client problems. Today I lead the company across strategy, client relationships, product direction, technology planning and delivery oversight for engagements across the USA, UAE and Pakistan.
